The Wilmette Bronze Pour was one of a series of projects conducted at Wilmette Junior High School. Brenner collaborated with the school to design and create three sculptures: Wilmette Tower, Wilmette Tower II, and Stratified Elements. In addition to the student-involved planning and design process, Brenner taught a sculpture workshop with Wilmette art students. Their artworks were cast in bronze on-site with his portable foundry.
